1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to FactsLook (the "Site"), owned and operated by Lots Tech Services ("we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Site, including any content, functionality, and services offered on or through FactsLook.

By accessing or using the Site, registering for an account, submitting content, or clicking to accept or agree to the Terms when this option is made available to you, you accept and agree to be bound and abide by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, incorporated herein by reference. If you do not agree to these Terms or the Privacy Policy, you must not access or use the Site.

2. Changes to the Terms

We may revise and update these Terms from time to time in our sole discretion. All changes are effective immediately when we post them and apply to all access to and use of the Site thereafter. Your continued use of the Site following the posting of revised Terms means that you accept and agree to the changes. You are expected to check this page frequently so you are aware of any changes, as they are binding on you.

3. Accessing the Site and Account Security

We reserve the right to withdraw or amend this Site, and any service or material we provide on the Site, in our sole discretion without notice. We will not be liable if for any reason all or any part of the Site is unavailable at any time or for any period.

To access certain features of the Site, such as submitting content, commenting, liking, or saving posts, you may be required to register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account password and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Intellectual Property Rights

The Site and its entire contents, features, and functionality (including but not limited to all information, software, text, displays, images, video, and audio, and the design, selection, and arrangement thereof, including the underlying Lookiee CMS structure) are owned by Lots Tech Services, its licensors, or other providers of such material and are protected by copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.

These Terms permit you to use the Site for your personal, non-commercial use only. You must not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, download, store, or transmit any of the material on our Site, except as follows:

  • Your computer may temporarily store copies of such materials in RAM incidental to your accessing and viewing those materials.
  • You may store files that are automatically cached by your Web browser for display enhancement purposes.
  • You may print or download one copy of a reasonable number of pages of the Site for your own personal, non-commercial use and not for further reproduction, publication, or distribution.

If you submit content (see Section 5), you retain ownership of your original content but grant us a license to use it.

5. User-Generated Content (UGC)

  • Submission: Registered users may submit original articles or listicles ("User Content") for consideration for publication on the Site. Submission does not guarantee publication.
  • Responsibility: You are solely responsible for your User Content and the consequences of posting or publishing it. You represent and warrant that: (i) you own or have the necessary licenses, rights, consents, and permissions to use and authorize us to use all patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright or other proprietary rights in and to any and all User Content to enable inclusion and use of the User Content in the manner contemplated by the Site and these Terms; and (ii) your User Content does not violate the privacy rights, publicity rights, copyrights, contract rights or any other rights of any person or entity.
  • License Grant: By submitting User Content to the Site, you grant Lots Tech Services and FactsLook a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, sublicensable, and transferable license to use, reproduce, distribute, prepare derivative works of, display, publish, adapt, and perform the User Content in connection with the Site and our (and our successors' and affiliates') business, including without limitation for promoting and redistributing part or all of the Site (and derivative works thereof) in any media formats and through any media channels.
  • Prohibited Content: You agree not to submit User Content that: is copyrighted, protected by trade secret or otherwise subject to third party proprietary rights, including privacy and publicity rights, unless you are the owner of such rights or have permission from their rightful owner; is false, inaccurate, or misleading; is unlawful, obscene, defamatory, libelous, threatening, pornographic, harassing, hateful, racially or ethnically offensive, or encourages conduct that would be considered a criminal offense, give rise to civil liability, violate any law, or is otherwise inappropriate; contains advertisements or solicitations of business.
  • Review and Removal: We have the right, but not the obligation, to review, monitor, refuse, or remove any User Content for any or no reason, including User Content that we believe, in our sole discretion, violates these Terms, fails to meet our quality criteria, or is otherwise objectionable. We may remove User Content or terminate user access for uploading such material in violation of these Terms at any time, without prior notice and at our sole discretion.
  • Comments: Registered users may post comments. Comments are considered User Content and are subject to the same rules, license grant, and moderation rights outlined above. We reserve the right to remove comments deemed spam, offensive, off-topic, or otherwise inappropriate.

6. Prohibited Uses

You may use the Site only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to use the Site:

  • In any way that violates any applicable federal, state, local, or international law or regulation.
  • To transmit, or procure the sending of, any advertising or promotional material, including any "junk mail," "chain letter," "spam," or any other similar solicitation.
  • To impersonate or attempt to impersonate Lots Tech Services, a Lots Tech Services employee, another user, or any other person or entity.
  • To engage in any other conduct that restricts or inhibits anyone's use or enjoyment of the Site, or which, as determined by us, may harm Lots Tech Services or users of the Site, or expose them to liability.
  • Use any robot, spider, or other automatic device, process, or means to access the Site for any purpose, including monitoring or copying any of the material on the Site.
  • Introduce any viruses, Trojan horses, worms, logic bombs, or other material that is malicious or technologically harmful.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to, interfere with, damage, or disrupt any parts of the Site, the server on which the Site is stored, or any server, computer, or database connected to the Site (including Supabase infrastructure).

7. Reliance on Information Posted & Disclaimers

The information presented on or through the Site, including articles, listicles, and User Content, is made available solely for general information purposes. While we strive for accuracy and quality, and may use various tools including AI assistance under human review to help generate or refine content, we do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of this information. Any reliance you place on such information is strictly at your own risk. We disclaim all liability and responsibility arising from any reliance placed on such materials by you or any other visitor to the Site, or by anyone who may be informed of any of its contents.

THE SITE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. NEITHER LOTS TECH SERVICES NOR ANY PERSON ASSOCIATED WITH LOTS TECH SERVICES MAKES ANY WARRANTY OR REPRESENTATION WITH RESPECT TO THE COMPLETENESS, SECURITY, RELIABILITY, QUALITY, ACCURACY, OR AVAILABILITY OF THE SITE.

8. Limitation on Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PROVIDED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL LOTS TECH SERVICES, ITS AFFILIATES, OR THEIR LICENSORS, SERVICE PROVIDERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, OFFICERS, OR DIRECTORS BE LIABLE FOR DAMAGES OF ANY KIND, UNDER ANY LEGAL THEORY, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE SITE, ANY WEBSITES LINKED TO IT, ANY CONTENT ON THE SITE OR SUCH OTHER WEBSITES, INCLUDING ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, PERSONAL INJURY, PAIN AND SUFFERING, EMOTIONAL DISTRESS, LOSS OF REVENUE, LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF BUSINESS OR ANTICIPATED SAVINGS, LOSS OF USE, LOSS OF GOODWILL, LOSS OF DATA, AND WHETHER CAUSED BY TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), BREACH OF CONTRACT, OR OTHERWISE, EVEN IF FORESEEABLE.

9. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Lots Tech Services, its affiliates, licensors, and service providers, and its and their respective officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, licensors, suppliers, successors, and assigns from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to your violation of these Terms or your use of the Site, including, but not limited to, your User Content, any use of the Site's content, services, and products other than as expressly authorized in these Terms, or your use of any information obtained from the Site.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to all or part of the Site for any or no reason, including without limitation, any violation of these Terms, at our sole discretion, without notice.

All provisions of the Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

All matters relating to the Site and these Terms, and any dispute or claim arising therefrom or related thereto (in each case, including non-contractual disputes or claims), shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India without giving effect to any choice or conflict of law provision or rule.

Any legal suit, action, or proceeding arising out of, or related to, these Terms or the Site shall be instituted exclusively in the courts located in Tirunelveli. You waive any and all objections to the exercise of jurisdiction over you by such courts and to venue in such courts.

12. Entire Agreement

The Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy constitute the sole and entire agreement between you and Lots Tech Services regarding the Site and supersede all prior and contemporaneous understandings, agreements, representations, and warranties, both written and oral, regarding the Site.
